I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute for Mathematics of the University of Zurich. I will start a postdoctoral position at UC Berkeley in fall 2021. I have completed my PhD at the University of Zurich under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Alberto S. Cattaneo. My research is in mathematical physics where I am interested in geometric and algebraic methods of quantum field theory. In particular, my focus lies on topological quantum field theories, local gauge theories, algebraic topology, symplectic geometry, quantization procedures and higher structures in quantum field theory.
