Cooper-Krushkal's categorification of the Jones-Wenzl projector

In this expository talk, we discuss the recent work of Cooper and Krushkal who give a categorification of the Jones-Wenzl projector using Bar-Natan's approach to Khovanov homology. This leads to another categorification of the colored Jones polynomial.
