The Swiss Link represents every Swiss canton, respecting the touching relations. It is an alternating 3-component 25-crossing link (3 of the crossings are nugatory). It is too big to be on the Knot Atlas, yet its three 2-component sublinks are as follows:
- The mirror of L11a198, which in itself has one unknot component, and one component which is a mirror 31.
- A Hopf link connect sum that same mirror 31.
- A Hopf link.
For the details, see the mathematica notebook SwissKnots2009.
The Swiss Link was drawn by Sebastian Baader for Swiss Knots 2009. The xfig source is here.
